International Moving Process

Our Global Move Management Program provides all the resources needed for a successful international move.  At Hilldrup International, we manage every aspect of your international move through a single point-of-contact, from the initial introductory counseling, transit and delivery of your goods at your new home. No matter what time of day, you will always have access to a familiar, caring voice – until the very last box has been unpacked.

We understand the challenges of transitioning to a new country, so we designed a Global Move Management Program. Our program combines advanced training methods, experienced personnel, superior shipment preparation methods, and sophisticated technology to professionally manage every detail of an international relocation.
 
Our multilingual staff provides in house language capabilities to help with communication during the move process. Our experienced staff speak English, Dutch, Spanish, French, Greek, Japanese, Romanian, and Chinese.

Phase 1: Pre-Move Survey

One of the most important aspects of any international move is the pre-move survey. A professional surveyor is assigned to the move and will meet with you and your family in preparation for the move. Every international surveyor we use, both Hilldrup International staff as well as through our Global Service Partners, have the designation of Professional International Moving Consultant.

Phase 2: Origin

At your origin location, our moving professionals will provide packing services to prepare the household goods for shipment. Your International Move Counselor assists with any documentation requirements.

Phase 3: Transportation

Your belongings will be transported through a combination of ocean, air and inland transportation services.  This process is managed by our international operations and logistics staff throughout the entire move.

Phase 4: Destination

At the new destination, Hilldrup International provides assistance with customs clearance and delivery through our network of global service partners.
