Supporting SCPS and Stafford County Sheriff’s National Night Out
We were honored to give back to Stafford County students and the greater Stafford community in two unique ways.
Hilldrup has been a part of the Stafford County community since our founding, so giving back to the those who have been a part of our story has always been a big part of our company culture. Recently, Hilldrup had the opportunity to support the Stafford community in two unique ways.
In recognition of September being National Hunger Action Month, the School Board of Stafford County invited the public to unite for “Stafford in Action Week” from September 23 -27. The week-long campaign was dedicated to eradicating student meal debt by encouraging the public to donate one meal to change one life within Stafford County Public Schools. Our corporate headquarters supported the initiative by sponsoring lunch for three classrooms, totaling $300.
The community’s efforts and success were celebrated during Via Colori on September 28 – 29 at Stafford Regional Airport. There, Stafford High School’s dance team performed before taking a photo with Hilldrup’s “check” in support of the Stafford in Action initiative.
On October 1, the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office hosted its annual National Night Out event with participation from Stafford County Public Schools, Department of Transportation Services, Office of Human Resources and Talent Development and Office of Communications amongst other local first responders and sponsors. Open to all members of the public, the event was hosted in the spirit of strengthening the community’s relationship with local law enforcement. Hilldrup’s stage trailer was loaned for the evening’s event where Stafford County Sheriff, David “DP” Decatur took the stage to welcome the public and kick off the evening’s demonstrations, exhibits and fun. We were happy to participate by loaning our trailer for this event once again!
Thank you to everyone who made both the Stafford in Action and the National Night Out events possible – we love being a part of the Stafford community and giving back to those who have supported us for years. We look forward to sharing more about our partnership and sponsorships with the Stafford community and beyond!
