Announcing Moved to Action – Hilldrup’s New Community Engagement Program
Today we are sharing that we’re taking our community service efforts to a new level with Moved to Action.
For over 120 years, Hilldrup has considered it an honor and responsibility to give back to the communities where we operate. As we’ve grown, our reach has extended from Fredericksburg to the Southeast United States, from Maryland to Florida.
Just as we’re constantly looking at ways to best serve our customers, we’re also always looking for ways to ensure our community engagement efforts are having the biggest impact in the areas where there is the most need.
Today we are sharing that we’re taking our community service efforts to a new level with Moved to Action.
What is Moved to Action?
Hilldrup’s focus has always been to support the local community, and Moved to Action allows us to do that in a more specific way that’s focused on action. Staying local, Hilldrup will now focus its philanthropic efforts on health, hunger and housing, all essential components to creating healthy families and thriving communities.
As the name indicates, the cornerstone of this program is action. Action leads to impact – and impact means we’re working toward achieving goals. Whether it’s improving children’s health, eradicating hunger, eliminating homelessness or addressing mental health issues, Hilldrup employees are moved to action.
How to Get Involved
In the coming weeks and months, our branches will be bringing Moved to Action to life in the community. The team will take action through food drives, coat drives, rebuilding homes, donating blood or coming up with their own unique way to give back. In many cases, we’ll be inviting community partners to take part, and we hope you’ll join us.
