Customer Service Awards

• USA Today’s America’s Best Moving Companies for 2026 whereby we were recognized among more than 36,000 moving companies across the U.S. based on customer feedback and evaluations of professionalism, care of belongings, price and punctuality.
• An industry record, 28-time Honoree of the United Van Lines’ Customer Excellence Award, which is presented to companies with the highest customer service scores.
• President’s Quality Award, the only four-time winner of this award, the highest honor given to any United Van Lines agent, which is based on a variety of quality factors including consistently high customer ranking, outstanding claims ratio, excellent safety ranking and outstanding “willingness to recommend” score.
• Multiple Performance Excellence Awards, which goes to agents with the best overall customer service and claims scores.
• Multiple United Van Lines Van Operator of the Year Winners including Oluwaseun “Olu” Osinowow (2020), Johnny Abbott (2019), Bob Fitzgerald (2015) and Dennis Putnam, Jr. (2012). Johnny Abbott was honored in 2019 as AMSA’s Super Van Operator of the Year and Bob Fitzgerald was recognized as a Lifetime Achievement Award Winner in 2017.
• Mayflower’s Van Operator of the Year Award Winner was awarded to Eric Galioto in 2022 and William “Billy” Poole in 2020.
• Multiple Heart of Quality recipients, including Rick Hash for United Van Lines and Jenny Craig for Mayflower Transit; Hilldrup Move Coordinators have earned this honor since the award’s inception.

Customer Voted Awards

• Repeatedly voted as the Best Moving Company as voted by our customers in the Fredericksburg, Stafford, Richmond and Atlanta areas and their surrounding communities.

Sales Performance Awards

• Multiple Masters Club Inner Circle Award Winners in recognition of United and Mayflower agents who exemplify outstanding sales performance.
• Multiple President’s Club Awards, which is awarded to those UniGroup agents with the highest revenue.
• Multiple Sales Achievement Awards for Residential, National Account, Government and International: Hilldrup is routinely recognized as the top national account, residential and government agent for all of United Van Lines. We are the top international agent for UniGroup.

Industry Awards

• NEI Global’s 2025 Corporate Responsibility Award for our efforts and success surrounding our community engagement program, Moved to Action.
• 2025 Operations Excellence Award presented to Carl Tisdale for exceptional performance in operations and for an unwavering commitment to teamwork, professionalism and achieving common goals across the UniGroup network.
• Fleet Safety Award, 3 Million+ Miles – Superior Performance based on the best van operator safety scores amongst UniGroup agents.
• Move for Hunger’s 2024 Mover of the Year Award for our efforts across our branch markets to mobilize food donations to those in need.
• UniGroup’s 2023 Member of the Year Award amongst more than 200 member agents based on data including on-time delivery, claims ratio, revenue growth and collaboration within the network to exceed customer expectations.
• Winner of the Gold Supplier Innovation Award for our industry leadership in executing virtual surveys during the 2017 Cartus Global Network Conference.
• Awarded the 2020 FAIMPLUS Quality Assurance Certification; in addition, we have received FIDI Academy’s Commitment to Excellence Gold Award for multiple years.
