Rodney Ortiz

Rodney Ortiz is the Vice President and General Manager of Hilldrup’s Raleigh-Durham branch, where he is responsible for the overall coordination, direction and evaluation of the branch, ensuring goals for sales, operations, safety and quality are reached.

Rodney has over 20 years of experience in the moving and storage industry. Previously, Rodney served in a multitude of roles with Hilldrup including Operations Manager, Dulles; Director of Operations, Dulles and most recently as Senior Director, Operations – Dulles and Forestville. Before joining Hilldrup, he worked as an Operations Manager for Suddath Companies as well as Graebel Van Lines in the Washington, D.C. market.

Rodney’s industry certifications include the International Office Moving Institute (IOMI); Windfall; International Maritime Dangerous Goods (IMDG) certification and being a licensed Weighmaster.

Outside of work, Rodney enjoys spending time with his two daughters as well as salsa dancing with his wife.
