Attending & Sponsoring the First Responders Breakfast & Awards Ceremony
Hilldrup was honored to be a part of this annual event to celebrate those who keep our communities safe!
An opportunity to celebrate and honor the bravery, dedication and service of our local heroes was a chance that we simply couldn’t pass up! Hilldrup was pleased to be a Service Sponsor for the Fredericksburg Regional Chamber of Commerce’s First Responders Breakfast that took place on August 21st.
From police officers, firefighters, emergency medical technicians (EMTs) and more, it was an inspiring event held at the Fredericksburg Convention Center. The event hosted local heroes from Caroline, Fredericksburg, King George, Spotsylvania and Stafford to thank them for their outstanding service and recognize those who went above and beyond the call of duty. A delicious spread of breakfast foods was provided to all in attendance before the awards ceremony took place.
Hilldrup’s attendees included Linda Rivera, Vice President, Customer Experience & Process Improvement and Chamber of Commerce Board Member; George Roth, Vice President, Residential Sales; Tamika Mitchell, Vice President, Human Resources; and Shelly Snyder, Executive Assistant.
A beautiful rendition of the Star-Spangled Banner was sung by the police force and real stories of heroism were shared, including that of two citizens who pulled a man from a burning car to save his life. It was a special moment to witness the awards presentation for individuals who had earned special recognition for their service and bravery amongst their peers, family and community.
