Congratulations to all of the runners who completed the Marine Corps Historic Half in Fredericksburg. If you’ve ever wondered what happens to all the bananas that aren’t consumed by hungry runners after the race, we’ll let you in on a little secret — they are donated to the Fredericksburg Regional Food Bank. We were able to help transport 562 pounds of leftover bananas to help feed those in need.
