Hilldrup was a proud participant at UniGroup’s 2020 Learning Conference in St. Louis, MO and was thrilled to be recognized for a number of prestigious awards throughout the three-day event.
This year’s Learning Conference brought together industry leaders, keynote speakers and the very best professionals in the moving and storage industry across the United States. The theme for this year was “2020 IN FOCUS” where themes for discussion included UniGroup’s vision for the future and our renewed focus on the customer experience. We enjoyed being able to see our colleagues and friends throughout the UniGroup system as well as take advantage of the educational opportunities on updates and trends impacting the industry.
Many of our team members were recognized on UniGroup’s national stage during the conference and we couldn’t be more proud of these outstanding individuals!
William “Billy” Poole, Mayflower Van Operator of the Year
William “Billy” Poole was not only named Hilldrup’s Van Operator of the Year recently by our organization, but he was also honored during the Learning Conference as the Mayflower Van Operator of the Year as well. This is a huge accomplishment and testament to Billy’s commitment to safety, quality and the customer experience. Billy accepted this honor alongside his wife, Marie, and Hilldrup’s Senior Vice President of Operations, Randy Rantz.
Billy has been a dedicated driver for over 35 years and has logged over 3 million miles on our nation’s highways. We’ve been honored to call him a member of our team since 2017 and couldn’t be more proud of him! Congratulations, Billy!
Jenny Craig, Mayflower Heart of Quality Award
Jenny Craig, Move Coordinator – Hilldrup Greenville, was awarded the Mayflower Heart of Quality Award. Jenny has been a part of our team for four years and was also recently recognized for obtaining Platinum Move Coordinator Certification from UniGroup. The Mayflower Heart of Quality Award recognizes move coordinators across the van line who provide customers with exceptional service as measured by their customers’ post-move surveys from the previous year. We’re thrilled that Jenny was awarded this honor in the presence of her peers for the consistently outstanding work that she does. Great job, Jenny!
Ben Frakes and Pete Ball, Masters Club – Inner Circle
Two of Hilldrup Stafford’s Residential Sales Consultants, Ben Frakes and Pete Ball, were recognized for their achievements in sales through the Masters Club – Inner Circle. The Masters Club recognizes United and Mayflower agents who exemplify outstanding sales performance within the previous year. Congratulations to Ben and Pete for being the very best of the best!
United Performance Excellence 2019 Awardees
Lastly, Hilldrup was awarded the United Performance Excellence 2019 Award, specifically in the size category of 1,200 plus shipments. This award was achieved through a combined effort of our branches and departments. Great job, team!

Did you know? The Mayflower arrived to the shores of America 400 years ago this year. UniGroup had some fun with the theme of sailing on the Mayflower – a nod to Mayflower Transit – during the Learning Conference. We loved the creativity and humor of the performance!
