James Lewis of Hilldrup Orlando

Hilldrup is thrilled to highlight our very own James Lewis, Van Operator, who recently celebrated 40 years with us! Representing our award-winning Orlando team in all that he does, James works tirelessly handling the duties of a Class A Van Operator serving clients across the local area.

With four decades of experience, it’s no wonder that James says he has truly “seen it all.” From changes in technology, fleet size and capacity, to the industry itself, James’ agility and dedication stands second to none. While physically hauling larger items like appliances and dressers is something that James has retired from, there’s no doubt that his consistent work ethic and years of experience keep our Orlando branch running smoothly.

“James faithfully shows up each day at 6a.m. and assists us until the work is done,” describes Ed Fitzgerald, Vice Present and General Manager, Orlando. “We are lucky to have an employee like James and enjoy seeing someone as dedicated to the organization as he is.”

Congratulations, James on an outstanding 40 years! We look forward to celebrating your continued success and appreciate all that you do for Orlando, our customers and our entire organization. Cheers to you!

James Lewis enjoys a celebration of honoring his 40 years of service to Hilldrup at Orlando's office.

Congratulations to Hilldrup Van Operator, James Lewis, for celebrating 40 years with us! To honor James’ career with us thus far, our Orlando team hosted a socially distant celebration, which included presenting him with a plaque, gift, gift card and a sweet treat. We’re so grateful for James’ dedication to our organization and customers decade after decade. Thanks for all you do, James!
