Stafford County Students’ Artwork on Display at Corporate HQ
Thanks to art students across Stafford County Public Schools, our Stafford office has a fresh new look each year!
From paintings and drawings to collages and more, the creativity of Stafford County Public Schools’ (SCPS) art students always shines bright! Hilldrup has partnered with SCPS since 2019 to display the artwork of students at our Corporate Headquarters and host them and their families for a special open house event. This year was no different as we celebrated 25 new pieces of art – and the artists behind them!
On October 9, 2024, SCPS students and their families were joined by Deirdra Hazeley, Coordinator of Visual and Performing Arts for SCPS and Hilldrup leadership to our Corporate Headquarters. There, students could tour one of our most trafficked hallways that showcased their artwork alongside a plaque that included each artists’ name, school and grade level.
In addition to viewing their own art on display, and that of their peers, students could take get a look inside of our trailers and even jump into a Hilldrup cab to see what being a Van Operator is like! It’s an event that we look forward to each year and we’re grateful for the talented students and their families who stopped by to make this event so special!
We enjoyed welcoming and meetings so many families as part of our 2024 Art Show Open House event! The opportunity to meet the artists behind the masterpieces on display in our hall is one that we look forward to each year.
Whether it’s our fleet from 1923 or a tractor-trailer from 2023, we encouraged our young visitors to see what it’s like to be behind the wheel with Hilldrup!
