Moving a high-profile law firm in the heart of a city’s capital is no small feat. Thankfully Hilldrup’s Richmond team brings over 30 years of experience completing workplace relocations in similar size and scope to this project in and around the City of Richmond.
Sands Anderson reached out to Hilldrup in early 2023 shortly after signing their new lease and knowing that an effective strategy would be required to ensure a successful project. We have been honored to be Sands Anderson’s workplace partner for over a decade, partnering with them for relocations at multiple sites, including a large-scale relocation of their headquarters in 2010.
Our goal was to understand Sands Anderson’s unique requirements and expectations so that we could map out the entire move process early and communicate the plan of action to the leadership team and all relocating employees. Efficiency is always a top priority and delivering solutions that would require the least amount of downtime possible was imperative for the Sands Anderson team and their high-profile clientele.
Project Overview
Challenges & Solutions: Due to the construction schedule, which was delayed late in the process, Hilldrup provided a flexible schedule for their move while also needing to work quickly due to time constraints for the decommissioning work of two floors. Our agile team also worked to be compliant with all operating requirements by the buildings as well.
